🎧 HitQuiz — Host guide
Guess the hit from the first notes: the snippet grows 1 → 3 → 7 → 15 seconds, guests answer from their phones, and the sooner you get it the more you score.
How it works
Pick a ready-made HitLoto pack, your own playlist or a theme mix — 10, 15 or 20 tracks.
Open the Big Screen on your TV, guests join by scanning the QR with their phones.
The snippet grows second by second: hit “I know!” or type the answer — the first second scores ×3.
Host guide
One person runs HitQuiz from a phone: music plays on the TV or straight from the host’s phone, guests answer from theirs.

✨ Create a room
Pick the “HitQuiz” card, enter a name and create the room. The 4-character code is for both the TV and the guests.

🎵 Choose the music
The lobby offers the same packs as music bingo: ready-made ones, your own playlists and a “🎛 Theme mix” of 2–6 packs. Below the list you see how many tracks will play: only tracks with a 30-second snippet count.

⚙️ Set up the game
“Tracks per game” — 10, 15 or 20. “How guests answer” — the buzzer (they press “I know!” and say it out loud, you judge) or quick typing (they type artist and title, checking is automatic). “More notes automatically” opens the steps by itself.

📺 Sound & screen
Tap “Big Screen” or open playparty.live/tv on the TV and enter the code. No TV? The sound plays from your phone (“🔊 Sound on this device”). Guests on a video call? Turn on “📱 Sound on guests’ phones”.

▶ Run a round
“First track” plays 1 second. Nobody got it — “More notes”: 3, 7, 15 seconds. You always see the title (marked “🙈 Only you can see this”). With the buzzer, work through the queue: ✅ — artist and title, ½ — one of the two, ❌ — miss. With quick typing answers are checked automatically; tap an answer to accept it manually.

🏆 Scores & results
One point for the artist and one for the title; ×3 in the first second, ×2 in the third. After the last track — “Final results”: podium and table. “New game” starts again in the same room.

Nothing to install — everything happens in your phone’s browser.

Know it? Press “I know!” and say the artist and title out loud when the host gives you the floor. A miss means you are out for this track.

⌨️ Quick typing
Type the artist and the title and tap “Answer”. Typos and transliteration are forgiven; you get 3 tries per track.

Just refresh the page: you are back in the room with the same score.
Common problems
Why doesn’t a track play?
Until the reveal HitQuiz plays only a 30-second Apple Music or Deezer preview. If a track has none, tap “⏭ Swap track” and a spare from the same pack takes its place.
No sound on the TV
Tap the TV screen once — browsers only allow sound after a person taps. Or switch the sound to your phone: “🔊 Sound: here”.
The answer is right but not accepted
With quick typing, tap that answer in the list — it is accepted manually at the second the guest gave it.
A guest can’t join
Free rooms hold up to 5 guests. A night pass 🎟 S/M/L adds seats and unlocks premium packs.
