🎵 Music Bingo — Host guide
A YouTube playlist turns into bingo for the whole room: the host plays clips, guests mark numbers on their ticket and shout BINGO.
How it works
Paste a YouTube playlist link, type a song list or pick a ready-made pack.
Open the Big Screen on the TV — guests join by scanning the QR with their phones.
Hit “Next track” — guests mark numbers and shout BINGO.
Host guide
A music bingo night takes ten minutes to set up and runs for an hour. Here is the whole path from an empty room to the podium.

✨ Create the room
Pick the “Music Bingo” card, type any nickname and hit create. The room gets a 4-character code — the TV and your guests will both need it.

🎧 Get the music in
There are three ways to fill the room with tracks. YouTube playlist — paste the link and hit “Import”: artists, titles and years are parsed for you. Song list as text — one line per song, “Artist — Title (year)”, then “Build pack”. Ready-made packs — the built-in demo pack of world hits lets you start right now.

🎟️ Set up tickets and rounds
“Ticket grid” sets the size from 3×3 up to 10×10, with a “Free centre ★” toggle next to it. “Clip” is how many seconds each track plays (20–30). “Rounds” is the classic “Line → Two lines → Full house”, or a single round when time is short.

📺 Hook up the Big Screen
Press “Big Screen” to get a link and a QR code. On a TV the easy way is playparty.live/tv plus the room code — a long URL is painful on a remote. On the screen itself press “Turn on sound”: browsers only let YouTube play audio after a real tap. After that the screen stays awake on its own.

👥 Invite the guests
“Guests” opens the QR code and the room code: a guest points the camera, types a name, and the ticket is on their phone. You can also drop the link into a chat with “Link”. Need paper? “Tickets to print” opens a print page with a Save-as-PDF button.

▶ Start the game
Once people are in, hit “Start Game”. Everyone gets their own ticket, and latecomers get one mid-game — nobody has to wait.

🎶 Run the game
“Next track” plays a clip: the number lights up on the screen with a countdown. When the room has guessed it, “Reveal track” shows artist, title and year. The “Track numbers” list lets you tap a specific number and play exactly that one. With the buzzer on, guests press “🔔 I know it!” and the queue appears in your console.

🔔 Check the BINGO claims
The moment a guest closes the pattern, “BINGO claims” lights up in your console. Open a claim and the whole ticket unfolds: correct marks in green, wrong ones in red — no arguments. Hit “Approve” or “Reject” and move on to the next round.

🏁 Wrap up
“Finish” shows the results and the winners table. From there you can deal fresh tickets to the same crowd with “New game”, or leave the room.

🎟 Tickets and limits
Free: up to 5 guests, 30 tracks, 3×3 and 4×4 grids. Ticket S — up to 20 guests, unlimited tracks, every grid and theme. Ticket M — up to 50 guests plus all the paid official packs. Ticket L — a full room of 150. Buy them from the home page in “Shop”, tab “🎵 HitLoto & Karaoke”, or straight from the room with “Buy a ticket”.

Guest guide
Nothing to install — it all happens in your phone browser.

📱 Join
Point your camera at the QR on the big screen and the game opens itself. Or go to playparty.live and type the 4-character room code.

✍️ Type your name
Any name, no registration. Hit “Join →” and you are in the room.

🎟️ Get your ticket
When the game starts, “Ticket #N” appears — a grid of track numbers. Before that you see “Your ticket arrives when the game starts”.

🎵 Mark the numbers
A clip plays and its number lights up on the screen. Got that number on your ticket? Tap the cell. Tapped the wrong one — “↩ Undo”.

🎉 Shout BINGO
Closed a line (or the whole ticket — watch the “To the pattern” hint)? Hit “BINGO!” and the host will check your ticket. If the buzzer is on, you can also be first to name the track with “🔔 I know it!”.

🔌 If you lose connection
Just reload the page: your ticket and every mark come back and you are in the room again. The ticket is tied to your phone — nobody else can take it.
Common problems
No sound on the TV
Press “Turn on sound” on the Big Screen itself: browsers refuse to let YouTube play audio without a human tap. If the console says “Big Screen not connected”, re-check the room code on playparty.live/tv. You can move the audio to your phone at any time with the “Sound: on this device” switch.
A clip is unavailable or won't play
Some YouTube videos are blocked from embedding — those tracks are flagged “unavailable” already in the list. Hit “Reveal track” and name the song yourself, or switch on “🙈 Hidden track”: it plays a 30-second preview instead of YouTube.
A guest can't get in
Make sure they type the 4-character room code, not the code shown on the TV. If they see “Room is full”, you hit the seat limit: it's 5 for free, and tickets 🎟 S/M/L raise it to 20/50/150. The easiest way to share the invite is the “🔗 Link” button.
“Not enough tracks for this grid”
An N×N grid needs at least N×N tracks. Import another playlist, paste more lines as text — or pick a smaller grid.
A guest reloaded and lost their marks
They didn't: the ticket is bound to the device and comes back with every mark after a reload. Same browser, same phone is all it takes.
